Story for the Worker

I do solemnly swear to never take part in swinging. To tell the truth, I've never been tempted really. Not one bit. I've watched programs about it, I get why a couple might decide to partake in it, but it's not something I'd try myself. It's a bit like open marriages, isn't it? You're taking a risk. I guess it's up to the Couple to decide if it's a risk worth taking. For some, it actually enhances their relationship and they grow to adore the pants off each other even more than they ever did. For others, trust issues are dredged up. Swinging isn't something that should be decided on lightly - it shouldn't be used to save a marriage - and it shouldn't be used as an excuse to hook up with some gorgeous bloke down the road. For me, that would be preemptive cheating.What would happen if one half of a couple decided swinging wasn't fun anymore - would the other give up just like that - or would he/she be having so much fun with gorgeous gal after gorgeous gal that it would be hard for them to stop swinging. Maybe they wouldn't care enough about the other half to stop?What would happen if one of them fell in love with one of their swinging buddies? What if the woman developed a preference for some other swinger's sexual prowess over her partner's? What if the feelings were reciprocated? That's two marriages/relationships potentially down the drain. Plus if both couples had children, it wouldn't be just a marriage being broken up.

I wonder if a couple would consider swinging if they had children? Hmm.On the flip side, when swinging works, it works, I guess. I can see how it can spice up a relationship, especially if sex has become somewhat mediocre. It also means that, technically, they're not cheating on each other. Each one literally knows who their partner's sleeping with. I, for one, wouldn't like to see my partner having it off with another woman - it's not a turn on for me. I'd like to watch him masturbate though, but he doesn't like me watching. Ah well. I Adore him nonetheless, just as much as I adore his body, warts and all.
