Story for the Worker

I think at first dating is about as exciting as a roller coaster ride. You never know how it’s going to go. Surprisingly we live through it and go on with the next episode. Some people are looking for that special partner from their veryfirst date. I don’t however want to put that much pressure on anyone, much less someone who I may want to live a lifetime with. Love is something so special we can’t wait to attain it, and no one ever wants to lose it. The ups and downs of first love are something we all have to go through, and never forget. Hopefully it doesn’t hurt us too much and leave a bad lasting impression.

I have watched our children go through this and I must say most all of them have managed themselves very well. Two of the four are married and a third is about to get married. The fourth one however has had bad experiences with each Partner. The First date with who would be his first wife seemed to me at the time to have gone perfectly.

He came home and begins to tell us how much they had in common and that she was beautiful and was so nice...They were married within 3 months and divorced before they hit their first anniversary. The second wife or partner was a totally different experience for both of us and for our son.

The first date with the second wife was anything but uneventful. They met online and fell in love and this went on for about a month. He brought her to our home announcingthat we're going to be married by the followingweekend.The next thing we knew we were standing as witnesses to his second marriage in the local courthouse. She came to this marriage with adaughter which was so cute. A babygirl we couldn't stop hugging. It turned out very differently than we thought. They had problems from the beginning we were not told about. She was running from her little girl’s father and her parents had been taking care of this child. She was using us to get away from her problems. They of course followed her. I guess it's not too surprising that she left him and filed for divorce shortly after they were married.
