Story for the Worker

dating websites are a good idea as I met my boyfriend, Jason, three years ago on a dating website. Our relationship had a bit of a rocky start because of his ex-partner, Mary. She may looked sweet and innocent but she was crazily still in love with Jason and caused a lot of trouble for us.

Jason broke up with her a year before he met me. Since then she has been calling him, texting him, even turning up at his workplace as well as at home. She just wouldn't leave him alone. Jason has said she has gotten worse since he has met me.

Jason had always apologised for the trouble his ex-partner has caused, which was really sweet of him, but he shouldn't have been the to apologise. He wasn't the one who was causing trouble. He also suggested that we move in together to be on the safe side. He was scared that Mary may do something horrible when he not around me.

We decided that I should move into his place and rent my house. As we moved my things. We noticed that we haven't heard from or seen anything of Mary. Is it all over?

It was far from over.

Once we have settled in a daily routine living together, just getting on with things and not thinking about what Jason's ex-partner could be planning next. Things were perfect.

But it wasn't perfect for long. Sweet and innocent Mary decided to set our hedge on fire! Throw bricks at our windows and sending us hate mail, calling me a boyfriend stealer. So this is what she has been planning when we heard or seen nothing of her. I have had enough.

I told Jason I can no longer play boyfriend and girlfriend living happily together. We need this to stop. So, Jason called the Police.

When the Police turned up and we told them everything about Mary. They stated not to worry and they will find her and arrest her. Jason wanted to press charges for stalking, criminal damage to private property and harassment. He also wanted a restraining order.

Mary was found at her own home and she was arrested. Although, she denied everything. Even though there was enough evidence to prove it was her.

We did get our wish. She was sent to prison for three years for criminal damage, harassment and stalking. She was also given a restraining order not to come within twenty miles of us when she got out.

Finally, we can get on with our lives.
